! WARNING ! - These emails have no affiliation with crytech or any of our products.

SPAM emails like these are sent out by other companies using your domain information to try and grab your attention only to sell you their products and services. In the case of the email listed here, it is sent out by a new search engine trying to get domain owners to register their domain with their search engine for placement. Being domain information is public information, this company attaches the domain registrars company information to make the email seem like it is coming from crytech, but when you look at who the email is actually from: owner-nolist-x@www-goto.com is not a crytech email.

Emails like these are quite a nuisance and there isn't much that can be done to prevent them from getting to your inbox. Crytech does have SPAM and Virus scanners in place, but some things still make it through depending on your user email settings. Anything that does not come from xxxxx@crytech.com regarding their domain or hosting information should be deleted to avoid any confusions. Users can ensure where their emails come from simply by viewing the mail headers of their email. These headers show server stamped information and help to prove the authenticity of the sender:

Received: (qmail 7812 invoked by uid 515); 19 Apr 2005 15:28:38 -0000
Received: from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx by mail.crytech.com (envelope-from <user@crytech.com>, uid 503) with qmail-scanner-1.25

If you have any questions or think you have an email that might fit these descriptions but are not sure, please contact crytech and we will help you in any way we can. Thank-you.
