The Junkert team went to work and was able to build a home for a local deserving family in less than seven days.

Crytech built the existing Jeff Junkert website with their mission in mind, “building exceptional homes with a personal touch.” Rather than take a generic real estate approach to the website, we designed Junkert’s website to function more as an art gallery. With Junkert’s homes featured in the annual Parade of Homes, it was an easy transition to showcase homes, subdivisions, and future development.

With the type of work we were producing for Jeff Junkert, Crytech was an obvious choice to help with featuring the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition progress online. There was a great deal of time sensitive material creating a need to make the website agile enough for quick updates. Daily photos were taken of the EMHE progress which needed to be easily navigated. The producers of EMHE wanted assurance that any content, images, or videos were protected since this type of content generates a great deal of attention and is easily stolen.

We were able to design and produce a sub-site to the Jeff Junkert website showcasing everything involved with the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. A proprietary photo gallery was created within Adobe® Flash® technology to help protect the images while providing a simple navigation to browse. A time-lapse and inside look video was provided which we were able to stream for online viewing in the highest quality without any additional plug-ins required.

With the entire Jeff Junkert site built around W3C validated XHTML, changes and updates to the site are quick and painless. Everything from pictures to text automatically formats to the overall theme of the website. Specific content was also built to be dynamic to minimize the frequency of changes. When building a home in less than seven days, the last thing to worry about is getting the website updated.

During the completion of the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition shoot, Crytech wanted to extend our support to the chosen family. As a result, we were given the opportunity to donate our services to create the Chiari People of Montana website which was showcased on the ABC "A Better Community" website.

We have continued to provide support for Jeff Junkert as he traveled to New Orleans for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition season finale, “The Extreme Dream Team.”
