The Yellowstone AIDS Project of Montana is a non-profit organization created to increase the awareness of HIV/AIDS while providing prevention and client services. One of the easiest ways to communicate and provide education to their market was through a website. While YAPMT had a previous website, it wasn’t attracting that much attention. It was difficult to change and didn’t provide any reporting to know how much of an impact it was making.
YAPMT had undergone a facelift with a new logo and basic marketing material. A new website needed to fall within their existing marketing while providing a new channel of resources and information. More importantly, the website would have to adhere to a newly created marketing plan to validate its success rate. This marketing plan would include information about reaching YAPMT’s online target market and identify the necessary call-to-actions.
With a simple reorganization of YAPMT's content and information, Crytech was able to design a website that catered to the different needs of visitors to the site. Individuals can find testing information, treatment options, and support with a single-click right off the homepage. At the same time, education about prevention and volunteer information is available for people who want to get involved and know more about the organization.
YAPMT receives a lot of support through donations and fund raising
events. To help maximize these efforts, Crytech built several entry
points on the new YAPMT website. Individuals wanting to volunteer can
simply fill out a form to inquire about opportunities. Other individuals
can support YAPMT by sponsoring events like "World AIDS Day" or buying
several limited edition prints. To gain attendance, fundraising events
are posted on the homepage with a main event as the focal point.
Crytech developed the site according to the W3C web standards for accessibility. With these standards in place along with some proprietary information, the YAPMT's website shows up near the top of any search. The site is now not only easy to find, but easy to navigate as well.
Crytech built the YAPMT site for growth. With the W3C standards and our own proprietary content management system, YAPMT users are able to login and make any changes to their website through their browser instead of having to install any software. With the site reporting tool within the CMS system, YAPMT saw nearly 60% increase in traffic to their site.

The Yellowstone AIDS Project (YAP) is a not-for-profit organization committed to increasing HIV/AIDS awareness and providing prevention and client services in Montana.
